The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is designed to introduce underclassmen to teamwork, public speaking, and presenting skills as an analyst, while also allowing upperclassmen to act as associates and have the opportunity to practice leadership skills by managing a team.

Spring 2023 applications are now live! See the links to the left for applications. Applications are due February 12th at 11:59pm. Interviews will take place the following week.

 We encourage applicants of all backgrounds and previous experience in business is not required to apply. The Associate application is open to all who have completed at least one previous semester of ELP. Looking forward to seeing your application!

Analyst Experience

Analysts in the ELP will gain experience through a 10-week series of professional development workshops and team-based projects. The skill-building workshops cover a range of topics to help members succeed in a business setting, including resume critiques, interview best practices, Powerpoint skills, networking advice, and navigating various career paths. 

 

Participants will be able to apply the skills learned through a semester-long research project related to an industry of their choice. Each team of analysts is led by an associate, who has completed the program. Past presentation topics include:

  • Venture Capital: NFT Industry Overview & Investment Pitch

  • ​Private Equity: Carlyle and PAI Partners' Acquisition of Theramex

  • Consulting: How Can Barnes and Noble Compete with Amazon
