2025 DEI COMMITTEE

Additionally last year, SWIB transformed our DEI Committee led by our VP of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and our DEI Chair, The non-selective DEI Committee meets weekly to engage in meaningful discussions surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the business world. These meetings focus on identifying and addressing the challenges women face in various business sectors and exploring strategies to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment.

The committee works to develop initiatives that promote representation, equal opportunities, and career advancement for women in business. Additionally, members discuss emerging DEI trends, share insights on workplace inclusivity, and explore partnerships and events that can support women in their professional journeys. Through these efforts, the committee aims to empower women by providing valuable resources, networking opportunities, and actionable solutions to drive positive change in the business landscape.

SWIB hosts a New York City Trek each fall to explore different firms. This Fall, SWIB visited the offices of PwC and Citi. Members had the opportunity to tour the offices, experience the companies' cultures, and network with professionals.
